Which ports do you work in?
We work in ports and marinas across Mallorca. Tell us where your boat is and we will work out the best way to look after it, subject to availability and acceptance of the vessel.
What size of boat do you accept?
Our published prices apply to vessels of up to 25 m. For greater lengths we prepare an individual proposal.
Do I have to sign up for a minimum term?
Yes. The monthly rates are for an annual service paid monthly. Continuous monitoring is what makes it possible to get to know the boat, keep its history and anticipate what it will need.
What do I receive after each visit?
You receive a Boat Report with photographs, overall condition, the points checked, observations and recommendations.
Do you carry out all the repairs yourselves?
Not necessarily. We carry out the checks included in your plan and coordinate specialist professionals when the work calls for mechanics, electrics, electronics, fibreglass, upholstery, cleaning or a boatyard.
Is third-party work included?
No. Specialist labour, parts, materials and external services are quoted and invoiced separately.
Do you order work without my permission?
No, unless you have agreed a spending limit in advance for urgent action intended to prevent worse damage.
Do you start the engines?
Salty Care and Care 360 can include periodic starts where these are authorised, technically appropriate and can be done safely. This does not involve taking the boat out or carrying out a sea trial.
Is cleaning included?
It is not included in the standard monthly fee. We can coordinate it, or include it in a Ready to Go service.
What happens in bad weather?
Care 360 includes Storm Watch under the conditions set out in the contract. On the other plans it can be requested as an additional service. Visits are made only when access and conditions are safe.
Can I book a single check?
Yes. The One-Off Boat Check is available from €95 and includes photographs and a report.
Do you credit the Boat Check if I take out a plan?
Yes. If you take out Salty Care or Care 360 within the following 15 days on an annual commitment, we credit the full cost of the check against your first monthly invoice.
Do you keep the keys?
We can hold the keys under a custody and access protocol defined in the contract.
