The team

Our team brings together experience in sailing, engineering, maintenance, management and nautical services, so that an owner has a single point of contact for their boat.

• Carlos Ferragut Rubio

  Technical management and operations

  A graduate in Marine Technologies with a Master’s in Industrial Engineering, with training and experience in navigation, mechanics, inspection and vessel management. A captain and nautical professional, directly involved in the technical supervision of boats, maintenance coordination, documentation and operations at Salty Boat Care.

• Montse Ballester

  Administration and management

  A pharmacist by training and a sailor from a very young age, with a lifelong connection to sailing. Brings to the project the administrative management, organisation and follow-up that keep every boat under orderly control throughout the year.

• Carlos Asensio

  Nautical operations

  A skipper and deckhand with years of experience in sailing and in the nautical services sector. Practical experience aboard and in port operations brings the team direct knowledge of day-to-day life on board and of what owners and their boats really need.

Boat Care came out of using boats every day

The project grew out of Navega Carlos SL's experience managing and operating boats in Mallorca. Working with boats daily has taught us that most problems do not start as major breakdowns. They start with:

• A battery losing charge.
• A small ingress of water.
• A worn line.
• An overdue service.
• A document about to expire.

Boat Care exists to catch and deal with those small things before they turn into large ones.
